NatureScape Native Garden Design Program Application

With the NatureScape Garden Design Program you will recieve a FREE Design Consultation and 50% cost share for your Native Plant Design. Cost will depend on designed square footage (see program terms for details).

Please ensure you understand your Homeowner Association (HOA) approval process (if needed) before applying. Most HOAs will require to see the design with plant list before approval.

If you wish to receive a regional Turf Removal Rebate, it requires a separate application (click here). Eligibility is based on the live turf grass that is removed; you must replace a minimum of 250 sqft of turf grass on the property, your landscape should be installed within 90 days of application approval, and the the installed landscape must meet the Turf Removal Rebate Program terms and conditions. DO NOT remove your turf grass until you recieve a Notice to Proceed or you will not receive your rebate. Rebate funding is subject to change; it is recommended to apply promptly. Your NatureScape design will meet the Turf Removal Rebate criteria if installed to plan. It is your responsibility to verify accuracy with your installation provider.

Please be prepared to provide the following information to complete your application for our NatureScape Garden Design Program:

Your water account information
3-5 photos of the project area and turf grass to be removed
Estimated square footage of your turf grass areas and total project area
A valid email address (a copy of your application will be emailed to you, and we will be following up on your project via email)

To qualify for the program, all applicants must have attended a free Landscape Workshop with Moulton Niguel Water District. If you have not attended one, you can attend an in-person workshop by registering here https://www.mnwd.com/workshops/ or watch an online workshop video here MNWD Virtual Landscape Workshop
